A couple years ago, I noticed a friend of mine on Facebook mentioned the Laird family reunion and the name sounded familiar. Sure enough, my first cousin 2x removed, Siotha Dorsey, married a Laird. I asked my friend about the Laird family.

Unfortunately, I had to miss this year’s reunion, but Tammy generously copied some photos for me. I can’t thank her enough.

I loved this one because it shows their youth. Things were different in the early 20th Century.

The most humorous thing about this situation is that Tammy and I went to high school together. Never knowing we were connected by a woman born in 1892. Siotha is Tammy’s great-grandmother. Talk about a small world. The following picture is of Siotha and Arthur’s family. At this time, only one survives, Velma.
